Outdoor swimming around Northamptonshire was not something I had really considered until lockdown caused all the indoor pools to close. The fact that lockdown happened over spring and summer meant that we had to think of outdoor alternatives to some of our favourite ways to entertain the kids or get our own exercise.
When I looked into outdoor swimming alternatives I was surprised by how many local options we have in and around Northants.
