Ella Bellas parties is a name I have seen around the Facebook world a number of times. Any time anyone was looking for party entertainer recommendations Ella Bellas was a name that always popped up!
When I decided to create an Interview series on the blog Ella was one of the first businesses I contacted. Check out her story here…
What inspired you to start Ella Bellas parties?
I had worked for a big UK based entertainment company before falling pregnant with my first child. I knew that making magical memories for children was my passion and that I wanted to continue this career. However, if I set up my own business, I could use my own ideas and creativity to structure the parties I provided as well as building up relationships with my customers, which is really important to me. I love to know a little bit about the child/ren and what they’re into before their party.

What’s your favourite part of the job?
Oh definitely all of the little happy faces! I love dancing around and having fun myself but there’s nothing more rewarding than knowing you’ve made lots of children feel great and given them memories they’ll treasure. Being a mum myself, I also know how much pressure you can feel to throw a good party, so to take some of that pressure away is a bonus.
What can a guest expect at an Ella Bella’s party?
At a ‘normal’ disco and games party out of lockdown, you can expect 2 hours of fun, age-appropriate games and party dances, with a full mobile disco set up and a choice of bubbles, snow, and smoke machines. All prizes and sweets are included too, so you don’t have to worry about anything. My aim is to make the party as stress-free for the adults as possible but super fun and exciting for the little ones!
However, I’m unable to host these during the pandemic so I’ve had to adapt and I’m hosting digital parties instead! These are hosted via zoom but don’t be put off, everyone but myself is muted throughout and the games are super engaging and interactive. I even throw in a little bit of magic! They’re short and sweet and a great way of making a lockdown birthday a bit more exciting and fun. Plus, you can enjoy it with family and friends from all over the world!
Lookout on my socials for virtual events you can join to entertain your children. Halloween and Christmas were popular and there’ll be more this year!
What ages are your parties aimed at?
2-12 years. Each age has a different structure and different games/party dances. For example, the toddlers love action songs such as ‘The grand old Duke of York’ and ‘Baby Shark’ with bubbles, whereas the older ones like a more chilled out, cool disco vibe with the macarena, cha cha slide, and the smoke machine. Not forgetting the limbo of course!
What are your plans for the future of Ella Bellas Parties?
I have big plans for Ella Bella’s Parties. I’d love to expand our services and provide bouncy castles too. This will be the next step once we’re allowed back to partying.
I’d also love to set up a regular weekly group or two for pre-schoolers, like a music group but with a difference.
In December I provided socially distanced door stop elf visits which were such a big hit and I’d love those to return next year too.
People always ask me if I’ll expand and hire more entertainers but if I’m truthful, I don’t know. I know I do a good job and work my butt off, so if I ever did it would only be a very few people who I trusted to put their all into the parties and were as passionate as myself.
