Last month Flinn got invited to a 5th birthday party at Berzerk in Moulton Park. We hadn’t been before so I was keen to see if it was somewhere I could bring all the boys on a rainy day.
what is Berzerk?…
Berzerk is an indoor soft play centre. There are climbing frames, slides, go-karts, an air bouncer, a basketball area, a small football area, a large section for under 3’s, and a cafe.
It is open 7 days a week from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Every Friday night there is a disco from 6-8 pm and each weekday morning there are Music & Dance or Sensory Ballet activity sessions for under 5’s.

what will you find at Berzerk?…
Included with admission is full access to all the features. The under 5’s activity sessions are free but there is an extra charge of £1 for the go-karts. Flinn loved these but unless you have a few friends to go on with you, you need to wait until some other children turn up to race against someone.
The climbing frames are great, they don’t seem to get too full. They are however the type that you dread your child becoming stuck in as you do not want to have to climb in there yourself.
The air bouncer looks amazing, it’s huge so loads of kids can get on at once and have a good bouncing area.
There is also a small netted football pitch and a basketball hoop with a few balls scattered around so you can have a mini-game.
The under 3’s area is really spacious, unlike a lot of soft play areas that seem to dedicate a small faraway corner to the littlies. Inside this area are cubby houses, sit on and push along toys.
The cafe is a fair size with lots of seating. The menu looked pretty good with the usual paninis, bacon sandwiches, pizzas and chips on it. The day we went was a Sunday morning and it was busy. This meant the wait for food was really slow so next time I’ll order as soon as I arrive. It did however taste really good!
Price-wise it is pretty reasonable. There are a few options but generally, a child will cost approx £4.25 on a weekday and £6.95 on a weekend or in school holidays.
I will definitely take the boys here again. I’m looking forward to taking Hudson to one of the Under 5’s sessions. I have heard it’s quieter in the mornings so will head over straight after school drop off. Save this post as I will update it once I have been again but make sure you also follow me on Instagram to see my images over there too.
